Rehabilitation Unit
NHC Farragut's Rehabilitation Unit meets the special needs of sub-acute level patients requiring 24 hour skilled nursing care combined with physical, occupational and speech therapies. Specialized services include rehabilitation treatment for orthopeadic patients who have undergone total joint replacements whether knee, hip or shoulder is involved. Rehabilitation for other diagnosis such as orthopeadic surgeries or reconstruction, spinal cord injury, post acute tramua services, neurological trauma or neurological disorders, cardiovascular trauma or status post cardiac bypass, musculoskeletal conditions or lower back and neck trauma are frequently among our patient population.
Your skilled nursing plan of care incorporates all of your therapy rehabilitation plus nursing services. Whether your needs are short term or intensive, your plan of care is individualized to your specific needs and doctor's orders and direction. Our number one goal is customer satisfaction and to ensure that you recover to your fullest potential with excellent patient care.
Our Rehabilitation Unit offers registered nursing staff around the clock 24/7. You will be able to choose your room accomodations with private suites, private and semi-private rooms available with their own private bathroom and shower.
Room amentities include cable TV, DVD player, CD player, high-speed wireless Internet and local phone service. Other services provided include free transportation to and from doctor appointments, sit-down restaurant style dining, a putting green for relaxation and a business center equipped with a computer, printer and fax for those who continue to have busy lives.
