Skilled Care Unit
NHC Farragut Skilled Care Unit provides skilled nursing care to medically complex patients who require 24/7 nursing care services. Patients in this unit receive services based on intensity of need and any technical components needed for their care. Supervision is available for activities of daily living including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, incontinence care, transfers and medication management. Technical components may include the use of intraveneous therapy, feeding tubes, colostomies, wound care, and inhalation therapy care. Customer satisfaction is our goal to help each patient achieve and maintain the highest possible level of function.
Our Skilled Care Unit offers both private suites, private rooms and semi-private rooms. Amenities include cable TV and local phone service. The unit provides in room dining or dining in the central dining room, individualized and group activities seven days a week, and a private dining room for special occasions.
