The Occupational Therapy department at NHC Farragut focuses on helping patients to become as independent as possible. Occuapational therapy provides training and rehabilitation for people who have decreased ability to complete activities of day to day living.
Occupational therapy focuses on assisting people to overcome physical deficits by teaching compenstory stategies, providing adaptive equipment, and strengthening for functional movement. Home management, kitchen activities, and driving are also skill which are addressed by our Occupational Therapy professionals.
