Physical Therapy

NHC Farragut physical therapy provides rehabilitation services that help to restore function, improve mobility, manage pain, as well as aid in the prevention or limitation of disabilities as a result of injury or disease. Physical therapists use electrical stimulation, hot and cold therapy, massage, and other physical and electrical modalities to reduce pain and increase range of motion. They also teach mobility training using prostheses, wheelchairs, canes, crutches, and walkers. Physical therapy is an appropriate intervention for cerebrovascular accidents (i.e. strokes), orthopedic injuries and surgeries, developmental delays, etc.
